Middle Fork Retreat

Looking for a place to slow down and unwind?  You can step away from the busyness to this comfy rustic cabin located approximately 2.3 miles off US Hwy 65 on Rumley Rd between Dennard and Leslie AR.

You’ll enjoy our quiet location on the side of mountain with the  Middle Fork Little Red River just across the road.

The cabin includes an open design living room and kitchen with one bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom has 1 queen bed and there is  a twin trundle bed in living room area. The living room sofa pulls out to a full bed and air mattresses are kept on site.      

In the living room there is a wood burning heater, Roku TV, DVD player and DVD's (an extensive collection) couch, chairs , a recliner and a day bed. There is firewood for the heater on the back porch.

The kitchen has a microwave, coffeemaker, stove, refrigerator. There is also an assortment of cooking utensils, china and silverware. We keep a good supply of drinking and cooking water and there is a washer and dryer on the back porch.

The bathroom has tub and shower combo with plenty of towels and wash cloths.         

The front porch is open with chairs, benches and a grill with charcoal and lighter fluid. You’ll have a great view of the neighbors pond as you relax here.  The back porch is screened in and houses a large table for outdoor dining. 

You can enjoy your quite evenings around the fire pit, complete with benches.

Cell service is available and the cabin has Wi-Fi for guest use. 

Please note that Van Buren and surrounding counties are dry counties.  The Buffalo River is about a 30-40 minute drive. Branson, MO is 2 hours or so away. Mountain View, AR is about 45 minutes away, Blanchard Springs Cavern is not far out of Mountain View.

There is no pet fee, so feel free to bring them along.
